Global Recognition for Local Impact
Prof. Pankaj Choudhary Honored at LDI World Conference 2023
In a Powerful moment of global solidarity for the planet
Prof. Pankaj Choudhary, Founder of Let’s Do It India Foundation (LDII), took the international stage as a keynote speaker at the prestigious LDI World Conference 2023. Held in the presence of the President of Estonia, Mr. Alar Karis, the event was a convergence of world leaders, sustainability advocates, and changemakers committed to building a cleaner, more conscious world.
Prof. Pankaj's invitation to speak was a recognition of his outstanding leadership in mobilizing communities across India for sustainable action. Representing the voice of one of the largest civic movements in South Asia, he spoke passionately about the transformative initiatives undertaken by LDII in recent years—ranging from waste management campaigns to grassroots energy transitions and youth-led environmental movements.
At the heart of his address was a call to reimagine sustainability as a people-powered movement, not just a policy goal. He shared stories of clean-up drives in slum areas, rural villages lit with solar energy, and awareness campaigns that reached millions through schools, colleges, and digital platforms. These stories were not only powerful—they were proof that change begins at the grassroots.
