Green Funds for Indian Entrepreneurs

Let’s Do It India and European Parliament Unite to Channel Green Funds for Indian Entrepreneurs

Channel Green Funds for Indian Entrepreneurs

In a significant step toward accelerating global climate collaboration, the Let’s Do It India Foundation (LDII) has partnered with the European Parliament to open new pathways for green funding and entrepreneurial support in India. This landmark collaboration, set to roll out in 2025, marks a historic moment where grassroots innovation and international climate finance converge to empower the next generation of sustainable entrepreneurs.

The foundation for this partnership was laid on World Environment Day, when Prof. Pankaj Choudhary, Founder of Let’s Do It India, had the honor of meeting Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament. Their detailed discussions centered around the urgent need to bolster climate action, support clean technologies, and create robust ecosystems where innovation meets environmental responsibility.

At the heart of the conversation was a shared recognition: India’s dynamic entrepreneurial landscape holds immense potential to drive global sustainability goals—if given the right access to capital, mentorship, and global markets. With this vision, LDII and the European Parliament agreed to jointly channel green funds aimed specifically at supporting small and medium-sized Indian enterprises working in sectors like renewable energy, waste management, circular economy innovations, green mobility, sustainable agriculture, and climate-resilient technologies.

Under this collaboration:

· New funding avenues will be created for Indian startups and grassroots enterprises focused on climate solutions.

· Training and mentorship programs will be developed with support from European sustainability experts and institutions.

· Cross-border knowledge exchanges and incubator partnerships will be established to help Indian entrepreneurs scale up and globalize their innovations.

Speaking about the initiative, Prof. Pankaj Choudhary emphasized, “This is not just about finance. It is about building bridges between continents, between young innovators in India and policymakers in Europe, who share a common goal: to protect our planet and empower communities through green growth.”

The European Union’s strong commitment to climate leadership, reflected in its ambitious Green Deal and carbon neutrality targets, finds a dynamic counterpart in India’s grassroots climate innovation. Through this partnership, Let’s Do It India aims to ensure that sustainability is not a distant goal, but an everyday reality for thousands of young entrepreneurs who are ready to lead.

As the world steps into a decisive decade for climate action, collaborations like this remind us that true progress is built on partnerships that transcend borders, politics, and geography. By empowering local innovators with global support, Let’s Do It India and the European Parliament are lighting a new path—one where environmental responsibility, economic opportunity, and social equity walk hand in hand.

2025 will be the year where ideas meet investment, and ambition meets action.
