This partnership was initiated by Ms. Evi Angelakis, the founder of the Albanian Conservative Movement, who extended an invitation to LDII to explore collaborative opportunities. The collaboration aims to leverage LDII's extensive experience in mobilizing communities for environmental causes and Albania's commitment to sustainable development. Together, they plan to implement large-scale cleanup drives, educational programs, and policy advocacy to promote environmental awareness and action.
This initiative aligns with Albania's broader vision of becoming a strategic partner for India in the Balkan region, as emphasized by Albanian Economy Minister Blendi Gonxhja. He highlighted Albania's potential as a gateway to Europe for Indian businesses and called for stronger bilateral ties and increased collaboration.
